Yükseköğretim Kurulu’nun 31.03.2023 tarih, 23957 sayılı ve “2022-2023 Eğitim ve Öğretim Yılı Bahar Dönemi Eğitim-Öğretim Süreci” konulu kararında belirtilen hususlar 31.03.2023 tarihinde gerçekleştirilen İstanbul Esenyurt Üniversitesi Senato Toplantısı’nda görüşülerek;

• Yükseköğretim Kurulu’nun “Bahar dönemindeki ara sınavların (özel öğrencilik hakkı verilen uygulama eğitimi içeren programlar hariç) “şeffaflık ve denetlenebilirlik” ilkesi esas alınarak uzaktan öğretim yöntemleriyle çevrimiçi yapılması” kararı uyarınca, ara sınavların bu ilkeler doğrultusunda uzaktan öğretim yöntemleriyle çevrimiçi olarak yapılmasına,
• Yarıyıl sonu, bütünleme, tek ders, tez izleme, yeterlilik sınavı vb sınavlarla ilgili kararların bir sonraki Senato Toplantısı’nda değerlendirilip karara bağlanmasına,
• Yüz yüze olarak devam eden Uygulama Dersleri ile “uygulamaları olan teorik derslerin” ilgili kısımlarının fakültelerin belirlediği koşullarda yüz yüze yapılmasına, yüz yüze yapılan eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinde devam koşulunun aranmamasına, derslerin yüz yüze yapılan uygulama kısımlarına katılamayan öğrencilere proje, ödev vb şeklinde değerlendirme yapılmasına,
• Web tabanlı dersler, bilgisayar ortamında hesaplama üzerine kurulu dersler, mutfak uygulamaları vb uygulama derslerinin ilgili Fakültelerin/Yüksekokulların Kurul Kararları doğrultusunda, oluşturulacak yeni ders programlarında ilan edilecek şekillerde yürütülmesine,
• Nisan ayına ertelenmiş olan “uygulamaları olan teorik derslerin uygulama kısımlarının” ilan edilecek yeni ders programlarına göre ayarlanacak uygun zaman dilimlerinde, yukarıda belirtilen koşullarda gerçekleştirilerek 2022-23 Bahar Yarıyılı bitimine kadar tamamlanmasına,
• Özel öğrenci olarak başka bir yükseköğretim kurumunda eğitime devam etmekte olan öğrencilerin bu eğitimlerini aynı şekilde sürdürebilmelerine,
• Teorik olarak yürütülen derslerin ilgili Fakültelerin/Yüksekokulların Kurul Kararları doğrultusunda yeni oluşturulacak ders programlarında ilan edilecek şekillerde yürütülmesine, gerçekleştirilecek tüm teorik derslerin üniversitemizde kullanılan ESUZEM-Teams sistemi ile online çevrimiçi kaydedilerek ESUZEM sistemine düzenli olarak yüklenmesine ve öğrencinin sonradan erişimine açık olmasına,

Oy birliği ile karar verilmiştir.

Yeni sisteme göre uygulanacak ders programı üniversitemiz web sitesinde duyurulmuştur.

Üniversitemiz Kütüphanesi ve sosyal olanakları ile öğrencilerimize açık olmaya devam edecektir.

Instructional Process in the 2022-23 Spring Term relating the Council of Higher Education’s verdict no. 23957, dated March 31, 2023

The issues related to the educational process during the spring term of the 2022-23 academic year, as addressed in the Council of Higher Education’s verdict No. 23957, dated March 31, 2023, were discussed in the Istanbul Esenyurt University Senate.

Our university Senate has unanimously decided that

• according to the decision of the Council of Higher Education, "The spring semester midterm tests (except for the programs that include practical training for the students concerned) will be executed online using distance education methods based on the principles of "transparency and audibility", the IESU midterm exams will be administered online with distance education methods.
• the issues related to the examinations, such as final, re-sit, single course exams, thesis monitoring, and proficiency exams, will be addressed, and a verdict will be taken in the following senate meeting.
• the face-to-face practice-based courses and the relevant parts of the "theoretical courses with some applications" will be held face-to-face under the conditions determined by the faculties; attendance will not be compulsory in the face-to-face education-teaching activities, and students who cannot attend the face-to-face assessment process will have the chance to submit some projects, homework, etc.
• such applied courses as web-based courses, computerized computation-based courses, culinary arts, etc., will be carried out in line with the revised schedule to be announced by the board of the related faculties and schools.
• the "practical parts of theoretical courses," which have been postponed until April, will be completed by the end of the spring semester of 2022–23 under the revised course schedules to be announced later and under the circumstances outlined above.
• students who continue their education as special students at another college or university can do so in the same way.
• theoretical courses will be carried out in a manner appropriate to the new schedule to be announced by the Board Decisions of the concerned faculties or schools, and all the theoretical courses will be recorded online with the ESUZEM-Teams system that is already in use at our university and will be uploaded regularly to the ESUZEM system and made accessible to students later on.
• the schedule to be implemented according to the new regulations has been posted on the website of our university.

Our university will continue to make its library and social facilities accessible to students.
