Department of Political Science and International Relations (English) - Message from the Head of the Department

Dear Student and Candidates,

Aristoteles prescribed political science as the master of all sciences because it is the study of the highest human good and concerns exploration of the best form of government in which humans can live happily. International relations, on the other hand, is an inquiry of the relationships and interactions of states, international governmental organizations as well as national and international non-governmental organizations, multinational or trans-national corporations as the emerging and powerful actors of international politics from a historical, structural and functional perspective. As today it is not possible to analyze domestic and international politics independently, Istanbul Esenyurt University Political Science and International Relations Department provides a multi-dimensional and sophisticated program.

In our department, we create a multidisciplinary educational environment in a multicultural environment with our students joining us from all over the world. Our priority and expectation is that all our students contribute to soceity as open-minded, skilled, and academically competent individuals.
