International Students Office - Why choose IESU?

Esenyurt Istanbul University (IESU) plays a leading role among the universities in Turkey with its academic and manegerial staff embracing an innovative perspective since its foundation in 2013. Istanbul Esenyurt University implements an education focused on culture and arts-oriented studies, social responsibility studies, technically advenced studies and We raise individuals who are curious, free-thinking, questioning, dignified, libertarian, socially responsible  and respectful to traditions and respectful to national values.

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

The University gives all its students the opportunity for an Exchange semester via Erasmus+ Program in countries like Germany, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria as well as other Memorandum of Understandings and Exchange Agreements with countries like Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The number of our Agreements are more than 30 and we are raising the number every other day. 
More than 50 international students are already studying at our  university studying at undergraduate and graduate levels and are experiencing the Turkish Culture for themselves.

We at IESU do also implement the training on work environment on controlled situations. As an example can be used our Studio, equipped with the last technology our student’s of the  Radio Television and Cinema, Public Relations programmes can use it while working on “real projects”. Our Public Relations students also have the opportunity to work as “ intern students” at several functions of the university.

Our university educates young people that will shape the future generations, with 4 Faculties, 2 Colleges, 2 Vocational Schools and 3 Graduate Schools. Istanbul Esenyurt University aims to enable its students to graduate as self-confident, open to innovations, productive individuals with a strong groundwork in education. It is very important for us at IESU, that students can establish close relationships with the business world and perform "real" internships both in various projects and courses they carry out. With the principle of "professionalizing while studying", students can reinforce their academic knowledge they have gained during the university process with practicals in their choosen field of study areas.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

We offer several scholarships to our students with varying levels and try to support them. They can be listed as follows: 20% Preference Scholarship, 20% to 30% Local Student Scholarship, 30% to 50% Sports, Culture and Art Success Scholarship, 10% to 100% Academic Success Scholarship, 50% Double Major / Minor Program Scholarships, 50% Transfer Scholarships, 15 to 25% Scholarships given to Childrens of Martyrs and Veterans, and 10% for Sibling studying at our university.
